Taipei, Taiwan, Sep. 21, 2017 – Jetway, a world-leading Industrial PC (IPC) manufacturer, is pleased to release the NF792-3160 Industrial Embedded Mainboard designed for longlife industrial applications. The NF792 will be released with the Intel Braswell N3160 low power 6W processor, but OEM CPU options are also available to customers. Ideally designed for low-cost general purpose industrial systems, the NF792 is also a recommended replacement for the popular, but end of life Jetway NF9D-2550 motherboard.
The NF792 is based on the 5th generation Intel Celeron N3160 processor, formerly known as Braswell. Braswell includes the Intel AES-NI functionality built into the CPU, enabling acceleration of encryption and decryption applications. This is an important feature that protects data against unauthorized parties by preventing its unauthorized use or alteration.
The NF792 offers a mixture of legacy and modern features, such as a legacy parallel port, serial ports and VGA port on the rear panel, while also featuring modern connectors such as SATA3 & M.2 SATA SSD connectors, an HDMI output supporting 4K, and dual gigabit LAN.
